Week 4: Final Sketch Up Model
Section which my model is based on. For my model I have decided to place the underground section underwater. I have chosen this as I feel as if it would allow for nice scenery when using the underground section. I have created the foundation of the building out of cement, with other exterior created out of glass and cement. Many of the interior elements are also made out of cement, including the stairs leading from the underground level to ground level. The hand rail on this particular set of stairs is made out of circular clear acrylic. My staircase leading from the ground level to the first floor is made out of timber. The pylons which display the creators works are also made out of concrete.

Week 3: Inspiring Videos
This video inspired the location of my building to have it placed on the water and underground. This video inspired my spiral staircase leading from the underground to ground level.
Week 3: Clients Work
CJ Hendry display, ground level. CJ Hendry lower ground, used as a way to adjust or work out how to display images. Gucci display, ground level. Gucci upper level (workshop), would be used as a way for the company to test different layouts.
Week 3: Placement of Custom Textures
Texture 1. I used this texture for the exterior of the upper level of my design (Gucci) Texture 2. I used this texture to line the protruding areas of the underground level of my design. Texture 3. I used this texture for the rim and underside of my spiral staircase leading from the underground to the display level of my design.
Week 1: First Sketchup Attempt
This was my first attempt at using SketchUp. A few of the walls have been hidden in order to show the staircases that I also produced. I feel as though with my next SketchUp model I will need to make it less block like and more of a circular structure. Front View Back View Section Inspiration
